Discovery Re-Finances

Discovery Church’s Finance Team, with Elder support and approval, has
re-financed our existing debt with 25-year bonds through Ziegler Capital
Markets.  Ziegler’s church division is well-regarded in the industry.

Bonds are a common financing transaction that churches use as an alternative
to bank financing.  With these bonds, we will be paying off our current
mortgage on the church and capital leases for our office modular buildings,
and we avoid having to renew our loans with the bank every 3-5 years.   We
are confident that this transaction strengthens our financial stability.
