Live Surrendered

November 14-16

Lake Yale Conference Center

Leesburg, FL

"The Women’s Retreat has become a can’t-miss event for me each year… life can be so busy and full of things that pull us away from God. The retreat has been a wonderful way for me to slow down, reconnect with God, and eliminate the noise so I can hear His voice clearly. And on top of that, it’s so fun-bring a friend or just make new ones!"

Ashley

"I have loved being part of the community of women at Discovery. The Women's Retreat has helped me take the next step from seeing other women in passing to becoming true friends and sisters in Christ."

Rene

"I’ve been a part of Discovery Church for many years, and the Woman’s Retreat has been a highlight for me. It’s such an example of women loving women to the fullest. Everyone feels welcome!! We also have so many fun and different activities, from outdoor skeet shooting to worship dancing. But probably my favorite part is the speakers, I have gained great insight!"

Dian

"The Women’s Retreat was a blessing! I went to the retreat not expecting much, but I was blown away! It was a beautiful weekend filled with God’s teachings, worship, laughter, fellowship, friendship, and a sweet time away in the presence of God. God surprised me and blessed me in a very special way! It was a rich time of maturing and spiritual growth. Can’t wait for the next retreat!"

Andrea

"Attending the Women’s Retreat was truly life-changing. Surrounded by sisters in Christ, I felt God’s presence in every moment—from the worship to the powerful teachings and the deep, spirit-led conversations. I came feeling weary, but I left renewed, encouraged, and on fire for the Lord. It was a beautiful reminder that we are never alone and that God is always at work in our lives. I can’t wait for the next one!"

Kim

"The Women's Retreat was a wonderful time of renewal and relationship building all while getting to spend intimate time with God! Wonderful in every way."

Betty

"The Women's Retreat is a highlight for me - a chance to bond with sisters in Christ and rejuvenate my spirit."

Barb Roose is a popular speaker and author who is passionate about teaching women to live beautifully strong and courageous in spite of what life throws their way so that they can experience God’s great adventure of faith and purpose for their lives.

Barb makes God’s Word come alive through powerful teaching, personal stories and practical next steps. Audiences love her authenticity and humor. Barb is a real woman who has experienced depression and anxiety, parenting challenges, family addiction trauma and long seasons of walking by faith in unanswered prayer.

Rather than teaching audiences to follow God to get what they want, Barb inspires audiences to discover that God is all they need and how to LIVE a SURRENDERED life!

Pet & Service Animal Policy:

To maintain a safe and welcoming environment, Discovery Church does not permit pets at events. However, we do welcome service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Under the ADA, only dogs (or miniature horses in some cases) that are individually trained to perform specific tasks for a person with a disability qualify as service animals.
