Our mission is to create an environment where kids can experience God in a way they will never forget!

Calling a generation to encounter God authentically together.

There is no junior Holy Spirit!

Kids are not too young to experience everything any Christ-follower can. Our desire is to partner with parents in teaching the Bible to kids from Birth- Grade 5 on their level to “make them wise for salvation” and to grow as disciples. They have a real friendship with God through Jesus!

Sunday Morning Kids Church

Birth – Grade 5

During adult gatherings on Sunday morning in the auditorium, we provide a place for your child to dig deeper into prayer, worship, the word and friendships.

Kids Small Groups

Grades 1-5

DC Kids understands God places a high value on children, and wants them to know Him deeply. We’ve created an engaging environment where kids can connect with God, and each other. DC Kids small groups only run during the school year.

Through challenging teaching, hands-on learning, games, bible skills, and memorization, kids are learning at a young age what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.

Volunteer

Investing in the life and spiritual journey of a child is an amazing thing. We aren’t babysitting back here. We are discipling children at their own level in a playful and relational environment. DC Kids is the perfect place to discover and put into practice the spiritual giftings and passions God has placed in your children.

Kids Baptism

Ages 8+

Baptism is a celebration and a public commitment of faith in Christ. Baptism is a picture of the reality that Christ has washed us clean and given us new life. In order to ensure your child fully understands the Gospel and the significance of Baptism, we require candidates for baptism to be 8 years of age or older. There will be a required baptism class held the Sunday prior to Baptism called “Morphed.” Baptisms are conducted by Discovery Church Pastors.

Parent-Child Dedication

Birth – Grade 1

Parent-Child Dedication is the parental acknowledgment of the purposeful responsibility to raise your child in the training and instruction of the Lord. Children are a precious gift from God, and at Discovery we believe we should follow the example set in the Bible to ‘dedicate’ our lives to raising our children according to His Word. The Dedication service provides parents the opportunity to make this very important commitment public before God, their friends & family, and our extended church family.
